A Few Sugarpill Products

It's no surprise the first time I heard about Sugarpill Cosmetics was through xsparkage. After seeing the vivid colors I wanted/needed them! The first time I order from Sugarpill I just got a single product...Love + pressed shadow. When I received my package in the mail it was obvious what was inside, so I ripped it open and oohed and aahed over the amazing red color!
This picture doesn't even give the color justice! This is such a true and pure matte red. I got a chance to play with this and fell in love even more! It is very vibrant and rich and extremely blendable!

Not long afterwards I decided to make another small purchase from Sugarpill on their first birthday (congrats to Sugarpill) Again I was so excited and I actually took pictures haha! The cutest packaging EVER and one of the greatest costumer service goes to the one and only Sugarpill Cosmetics and Amy!

Look at this box!! It makes it hard to throw it away! Not only is the box cute but the hot pink tissue paper just makes me oh so happy!

And then if that wasn't enough, your invoice has a message from Amy the creator of Sugarpill!!

How sweet is that?!?! Now for the actual products!

With every order you get a Sugarpill Cosmetics sticker, and a sample of their Chromolust Loose Powder, which I will get to in a minute! This time around I order Buttercupcake and Flamepoint.

There actually is a palette called the Burning Heart Palette that has those three colors and Poison Plum, but obviously I opted for the single pressed shadows haha. Buttercupcake is a bright shout of yellow! It is the prettiest yellow I have seen, and the shadow on your eyelids is no different from the shadow in the pan. Flamepoint is a vibrant orange that is extremely eye popping. One thing I love about these single shadows is the packaging itself.

It is so pretty! And that is not a sticker on the front, it is actually printed on it. Now time for swatches
Look at the pigmentation! These are on with no base just straight color from the pan to my hand! Now I currently don't own any full size Chromolust Loose Powders, but that will be part of my next order because I fell in love with one of my samples Magentric! It is in fact a magenta pink with green shimmer! Even the packaging for the samples are too cute

I also got a sample of Tipsy which is such a beautiful light green that has lots of green shimmer! The chromolust is finely milled and are so blendable. If you add a mixing medium they are even more vibrant and you're sure to get many compliments!
This is with just one swipe of color and no base! Imagine this over a base or even while wet! Overall I do believe Sugarpill has become one of my favorite cosmetic companies! They are so vibrant and true to the color, what you see is what you get! Both the pressed powders and loose powders are blendable and buidable. I can not wait until my next order from them haha!

Introducing GenniferBelle

So for some time now I have been watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. I will base my look for the day using a tutorial. I decided to share what I have learned and sometimes alternative products instead of the sometimes always MAC. One of the first people I have decided to go through her entire tutorials is Ms. Leesha otherwise known as xsparkage. I completely love everything that that she does! All the looks unless otherwise stated are created by her tutorials, all the credit goes to her. If you would like to see her YouTube channel go here http://www.youtube.com/user/xsparkage

The first look I'm going to do is based on her Waikiki Petrilude Mock-Contest Entry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfPqUoNY1yY . This was a pretty simple easy look to do. Like most looks I didn't use the colors or products that she uses, but I improvised as much as I could using some Urban Decay shadows and the 100 E.L.F Eyeshadow Palette.

This is the completed overall look

On the eyes I used Leesha's favorite Too Faced Shadow Insurance to prime the eyes.  Then I used UD's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in 1999. Afterwards I used UD's Underland from the Alice in Wonderland palette on the lid. On the crease I used UD's Jinx from the Book of Shadows Vol. II. To define the crease a little bit more I used a dark blue matte color from the E.L.F palette

(Where the lips are is the color I used, there's a lot I know haha) On the inner corner I used a bright pink color from the same palette

And then for a brow highlight I used a color from the same palette that looks like a plain white shadow but actually has pink and lavender shimmer

On the bottom lashline I used UD's Jinx again. The mascara I used was Maybelline Volume Express One by One in Very Black. I tight lined with UD's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero. On my upper lash line I used L'Oreal Lineur Intense Liner in Black. Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural on my cheeks and E.L.F Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Pink Lemonade on my lips.

Please feel free to post comments and questions and I will answer them as best to my knowledge. Or if there are requests for some of Leesha's looks let me know!
